Each handmade,4 ounce bar of soap has a natural glycerin base of goats milk, willow bark powder (yes the same powder they make asprin from), kaolin clay, tea tree essential oil and rosemary essential oil. Why these ingredients? Goat's milk reduces skin inflammation due to its fat molecule content. The cream present in goat's milk is a moisturizer, soothing dry and damaged skin, possessing an anti-inflammatory effect. Goat's milk has anti-bacterial properties that delay the growth of microbial organisms that spur the spread of acne. Willow bark powder has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties which can help gently dissolve dirt and impurities that may clog pores. A compound (montmorillonite) found in Kaolin clay has proven beneficial in eliminating oils and toxins from the skin. Tea tree oil is known to have bacteria-fighting abilities, Take that dirty pores!
